This was our leprechan trap my daughter designed last year. Ava's leprechaun trap. The assumption was-if we decorate the trap like his "land" he would feel comfy and right at home. She made a trail of sparkling confetti leading up to the trap. Because leprechaun's love sparkles and glitter, then we made a small pot of gold using yellow skittles. She also drew a few 4 leaf clovers to finish it off. He'll feel right at home :) So cute! The kids have been planning the traps for a while now. We'll see what their little imaginations come up with.
Here are some fun ideas for you and your family to do together! Let's start with a little crafty goodness!
While you're craftin' you'll need some yummy food to munch on! So doing the pizzas for dinner...
This would be cute with a little note "I'm lucky to have you."
Can't go wrong with front and rolo's. Perfect combo!
Yesterday, I finalized our plans for St. Patty's Day and raided the dollar spot at Target. And...since it falls on a Saturday this year we've got some extra things planned for the kids. First we'll work on this year's leprechan trap. The only problem is...our pesky leprechan always escapes and makes a huge mess. This year, I heard he'll be sending the kids on a scavenger hunt for a little "pot o' gold." Pictures to come!
