{DIY Holiday Magnets}

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

While Dave spent some quality time with the "littles" today, I crafted my booty off! I created the perfect list of tunes on Pandora, complete with "Frank Sinatra" and got settled in. The first craft I worked on was another batch of holiday magnets. I made a TON of these at our last MOPS craft night and needed to make more to package up for teacher gifts. These are super easy to make and are a great, small gift to have on hand {for those last minute gifts}. Check it out...

I started out by using this double sided paper from the Making Memories "Fa-La-La" Collection. If you get a chance, grab a couple of sheets of this paper. You can make gift tags, holiday cards, magnets...basically a TON of goodies from this paper.

Cut the circles out or simply use a circle punch. Adhere a jumbo flat back clear marble {purchased from JoAnn's} on top, a super strong magnet on the back and that's it!

I popped mine into an altered "altoid" tin and secured with a holiday bow. Use your 40% off coupon and you've got a sweet lil' gift for just under $5. {Package them in sets of 6 and you've got gifts for at least 4 people...what a BARGAIN!!!}

Updated to add: The adhesive I used was Glossy Accents, Soba glue for the magnets and I decoupaged the altoid tin with scrapbook paper. I know that Making Memories sells this paper in paper pad form at Michael's but they may sell them individually too.

That is adorable! It seems easy enough for me to do and I like that you repurposed an Altoid tin as their holder. I love projects like this!

These are such a good idea. What kind of adhesive did you use? Also, is there a certain place where I could find that brand of paper? I really like it!!

This is a wonderful idea! I know NOTHING about all the paper products out there--I've never done any scrapbooking--so I would never have known that I could make these so easily. Thanks for sharing your idea!!
